The Dunellen Public Library has as it's goal for the "Welcoming Library Spaces for the Autism Community and their Families"  to expand services at the library for the autism community.

We will plan programs from April through August 2009 some of which will be:

1. A music presentation with presenter Spook Handy for children with autism and their families.

2. A staff training with the first responders of Dunellen to heighten awareness of the needs of people with autism.

3. Provide a special collection of materials about autism to be available to the residents of Dunellen and surrounding areas.

4.Have a display in our library during the month of April that will help to make the community aware of the need for all these materilas and programs.
